Springdale Country Club has hired Narinder Dham as its new Executive Chef. He boasts a first-rate culinary pedigree with more than a decade of success in world class international hotels, private clubs and restaurants. He begins working at the Club on February 15.
As Narinder begins his journey at the Springdale Country Club, members can expect a newly redesigned menu to provide an unparalleled dining experience.
Originally from India, Narinder’s career launched in 2009 while working in the kitchen of a resort in Mumbai when he discovered his love for cooking. He traveled internationally and became well-versed in an array of global cuisines, notably classic French and the exotic flavors of his home country. He moved to Arkansas in 2016 to work under a Michelin Chef at the award-winning Capital Hotel in Little Rock. Most recently, his work has been featured in Arkansas Life magazine. Narinder’s role at the Club will be his first Executive Chef position, and he looks forward to creating new dishes, making delicious food, meeting members, and building a team to grow the culinary aspect of the Springdale Country Club.
“Springdale Country Club is a historical club with great outlets; it just needs a little direction to get on track to its former glory,” he said. “It is my hope that my background and training will be showcased in my cuisine and bring new interest to the club. ”
Over the next six months, Narinder hopes to organize the kitchen and train the staff to put out an all-new menu. Once the updated menu is completed, he will begin expanding the banquet and catering capabilities of the Club to host new and exciting events for members.
In his free time, Narinder enjoys spending time with his wife and two-year-old son. You can often find him outdoors biking, running, and hiking the trails of Northwest Arkansas, or jet skiing and boating on Beaver Lake.
